Revamp Style Swap Cambridge 2026

We’re back for another Revamp Clothes Swap event!
Join us for an afternoon of style, sustainability, and fashion inspiration while swapping your beautiful garments for other preloved goodness. Created by wahine, for wahine to support wahine.

How the swap works:

• Purchase your event ticket (limited VIP tickets are available, these will give you early access to the swap)

• Bring up to 10 items of clothing that are in great condition to pass onto another awesome wahine - no stains or damage and in clean condition, please. 

• As part of the ever growing issue of fast fashion we will not be accepting items of clothing from such places as Temu or SHEIN or any other fast fashion. The idea of our swap is for everyone to feel excited about what they find. If it doesn't feel special to you, it won't feel special to others.

• No clothes to swap on the day? No worries! All you will need to be part of the day is your ticket and cash or access to bank transfer to make a payment of $5 per item. There will be a rack or two of more expensive garments on the day. These garments would normally be part of our auction.

Dropping off your items:
You can drop off your items either:

• Any time from now to Cambridge East School Office during school hours or DM us over at instagram @revampstyleswap and we can arrange a pick up/drop off point

• On Friday 18th September between 5-7pm at Cambridge East school hall

• Or on the day at Cambridge East School - Room 5 between 12:30pm - 1:30 pm (this will be clearly signposted on the day).

You will receive a 'token' for every item of clothing you bring (up to 10 tokens). This year we will trial having a google doc running at the payment table to save the hassle of carrying physical tokens.

On the day:
Bring cash and reusable bags for your beautiful swap finds. There are no EFTPOS or credit card facilities on the day but we can do bank transfers. 

• Event doors open at 1:30 pm where there is time to mingle with fabulous wahine and enjoy tasting some beautiful catering.

• Just before 2 pm: Make your way to the seated area for a panel discussion with our guests.

• At 2:30 pm you have a chance for another break, more chats, and more kai while the troops set up the SWAP!

• The swap starts at 3 pm (with VIP access from 2:40 pm)

Checkout using your swap tokens (1 item = 1 token). Any additional items will be at a cost of $5 per piece (unless otherwise marked).

All leftover clothing will be donated to op shops in Cambridge and Hamilton.

All money from Revamp Style Swap will be donated to Cambridge Community House to go directly to wahine using their Whānau support services.

This event is part of Slow Fashion September, a month-long calendar of sustainable fashion events supported by Hamilton City Council, Waipā District Council and Waikato District Council.
Funding is from the Government’s Waste Disposal Levy, helping councils run projects that encourage reducing waste.
