REVEALED OPENING WEEK PROGRAM 2024 - REGISTRATIONS

AACHWA warmly invites Art Centres, Aboriginal artists, and arts workers (both Independent and from Art Centres) to register to participate in the Revealed Opening Week Activities including the Revealed Creative Development Workshops. 

In the lead up to the Revealed Exhibition and Art Market, there will be a number of different opportunities for art centres, artists and managers to engage, learn and connect. Register your interest for the activities we have on offer throughout the week! 

*Workshop numbers are strictly limited, so we recommend registering to avoid disappointment.

Overview of Program: 

  • Tuesday 7 May 2024: Aboriginal Cultural Centre consultation & Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) Workshop. Led by Lawyer Terri Janke & Company. (This workshop is for regionally based artists and Art Centre staff/board/artists). Aboriginal people will be paid a meeting fee for their attendance and participation in this workshop. 
  • Wednesday 8 May 2024: Following the AACHWA AGM there will be a Managers Workshop facilitated by Mollie Hewett & Rania Ghandour from Walk Through Walls (This session is for Art Centre Managers) 
  • Wednesday 8 May 2024: Cultural Tour of Fremantle with Walyalup Cultural Centre with guide Ethan Chadd.(This activity is for artists/arts workers and will run at the same time as the Managers Workshop)
  • Thursday 9 May 2024: 9:30am to 12:30pm - Series of Creative Development Workshops, held at Fremantle Arts Centre. Lunch will be provided.
  • Thursday 9 May 2024: 4:30pm Artist Preview for the Revealed 2024 Exhibition. (For exhibiting artists and Art Centres only) From 6pm the Exhibition opens to the public.
  • Friday 10 May 2024: 9:30am to 12:30pm - Series of Creative Development Workshops, held at Fremantle Arts Centre. Lunch will be provided.
  • Saturday 11 May 2024: 10am to 5pm - Revealed 2024 Art Market, Fremantle Arts Centre.

*Please note: Workshops are free for participants. Registrations are strongly recommended as due to studio capacity and health & safety requirements, participant numbers per workshop are strictly limited. Participants will be required to wear enclosed shoes. Some workshop studios are also only accessible via stairs. The program is subject to change at anytime (if this occurs participants will be notified via email).
