Event description

A somatic dance and tea ceremony experience DJ'd by Tymbiosis with facilitation by Melina Shabel

Following the New Moon, a time of fertility and rebirth, we gather to remember Pachamama, the Earth Mother, the great womb that holds us all. On August 1st, the day devoted to her in Andean tradition, we honour this ancient relationship through movement, ritual, and reverence. As a tribe, we will descend into her soil, stir the seeds of our remembering, and rise into wild, untamed celebration. This dance is a sacred act of reciprocity, where our bodies become prayers, our expression becomes offering, and our presence becomes a gift to the living Earth.

At the heart of this gathering is the Ritual of Rue Tea (Ritual de Té de Ruda), a traditional ceremony of spiritual renewal and gratitude. The tea, both a physical and metaphysical cleansing, reminds us of the cyclical bond between humans and the Earth. In honouring her abundance and protection, we are called to move with more harmony, more care, and deeper connection. Together, we will root, bloom, and return—in gratitude, in awe, and in devotion to the sacred cycles that sustain all life. Come as you are, and leave a little closer to our beloved Mother Earth.
