Revolving Doors - Richard Charlton

If you like the sound of one guitar playing, imagine the rich resonant sound of a multi-guitar classical orchestra in concert.

We are Hobart's Guitar Ensemble, comprising guitar enthusiasts from southern Tasmania, in tandem with the Hobart's popular multi-instrumental group Jounce. Some talented young players will also be joining us.

This special event features internationally acclaimed composer, guitarist and conductor Richard Charlton – one of the world's foremost masters of guitar orchestration. Under his baton we will presenting a compilation of his own works, some only recently composed.

Richard’s arrangements are celebrated for their melodic richness, rhythmic energy and expressive power.
