Welcome to the Spring ReWild Tribe Family Camp!

You are booked in for Week 2: Monday 5th - 9th October

We can't wait to welcome you to the village if it's your first time, and to welcome you back if you're a returning family.

We'll be bush exploring, river swimming, campfire singing and storytelling, learning how to be truly, madly, deeply at home in the wild, in community and in ourselves.

Below are a few basic logistics for you to grasp at a glance before later emails.

LOCATION: Bhundoo Bush Cottages

ARRIVAL: 2-4pm on Monday 5th October to set up your camp. Mentors will be available to help set up your tents. The road is 2wd friendly.

DEPARTURE: 2pm on Friday 9th October

ADVENTURES: The Rewild Your Child activities (8.30am-12.30pm) start Tuesday morning, and continue each day, including Friday morning. They will need to head out with a bag packed with drinking water, spare clothes, rain gear, and snacks. All mentors have Working With Children clearance and are awesome, beautiful people. We have people certified in first aid, multiple first aid kits, emergency phone access at the homestead on the property and a great hospital at Milton, one hour away, if needed. You adults that don’t get to go on adventure have the opportunity relax, connect, join in on one of the impromptu offerings or do your own thing!

NIGHT TIME: In the evenings, we gather around the fires under the longhouse for food, stories, performances, songs.

FOOD: You bring your own breakfasts and lunches, and anything you need to cook or eat with including gas cookers, eskies and cutlery. You're also welcome to cook on the communal fires at breakfast and lunch. We provide a dinner option for $80 per person for the whole week. If you haven't signed up for that and wish to, please get in touch asap. If you have signed up for dinners, they will generally be served at around 5:30-6pm, just bring your bowl and fork! Dinners are simple, one pot meals that are gluten free dairy separate, and legumes in most meals. There is a vegan option for all meals. There is a tap up at the cabins which has pure water straight out of the mountains, which is what we use for cooking and drinking on camp. Or you can bring your own water.

WEATHER: Come prepared for rain - it's the best way to guarantee sunny weather! Please bring an extra tarp, rope, decent rain gear, spare clothes, extra blankets, snuggly clothes for when overnight temperatures drop.

TOILETS: We have a great system for composting toilets, with daily cleans and a great view. There is a running tap to wash hands but no shower. There is the beautiful river to swim in.
