Rewilding Wobbly Boot Vineyard
Description
Rewilding: From Farmland to Wildlife Sanctuary
Join Rewilding Wobbly Boot Vineyard for a property tour exploring the transformation of a former grazing property into a sanctuary for wildlife.
Over the past ten years, the owners have developed nature first agricultural practices designed to protect and conserve wildlife, including creating wildlife corridors and grazing areas for macropods, revegetating the property and creating habitat for bandicoots and echidnas.
Walk through the property to see the rewilding project in action and hear what has been learnt over the past ten years. The tour will explore wildlife corridors, macropod grazing areas, revegetation and habitat created for bandicoots and echidnas, and how habitat restoration is being incorporated alongside agriculture.
You’ll also have the chance to get hands on with a community planting of endangered native species to create additional wildlife habitat.
