To CELEBRATE the Royal Geelong Yacht Club’s restoration and display of the marine stick (Fortin) barometer from the “INVERLOCHY”, wrecked off Anglesea in December 1902, the RGYC FOUNDATION is holding a dinner at RGYC 6.00pm for 6.30pm on THURSDAY 3rdJULY

ERIC MESSER will give a presentation about the “INVERLOCHY”, her crew and their misadventures off our coast in 1902.
Eric has been an Anglesea resident for over thirty years. He is a Shipmaster and has dived on the “Inverlochy” many times. His interest in the Ingoldsby Reef was initially from the biological aspect but then grew into an historical interest as well when he found remnants from the “Inverlochy”.
