Travel instructions

Car: Use the Concord Road exit off the A3, turn into Hospital Road then left into Fremont Street, then right into Killoola Street. On-site parking is available at the Kokoda Track Memorial carpark with free 2 hour parking in parking bays. Bus: Buses run via Concord Hospital from the City, Burwood, Strathfield and Ryde, and is a short walk to the Kokoda Track Memorial carpark Train: Trains operate from Rhodes railway station. For further information call the Transport Infoline on 131 500 or consult Transport NSW. When arriving at Rhodes station, take the Blaxland Road exit, cross Concord Road and follow the signs to the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway.

Entry instructions

The Kokoda Track Memorial carpark is located via Killoola Street. As you enter the carpark, there is signage for Rhodes Park and the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway.

Meeting Place: Once you have arrived at the Kokoda Track Memorial carpark, please look out for our facilitator Nina and your fellow attendees, who will welcome you to the group.

Hazards

As this activity is conducted at night, please be aware of potential trip hazards and low light areas which may affect visibility. Torches will be provided on the night to assist. The Kokoda walkway is fully pathed and is wheelchair accessible.

Toilet location

Toilet facilities: The Kokoda Track Walkway is wheelchair accessible, and there are disabled toilets adjacent to the parking lot next to the Education Centre. Rhodes railway station is also wheelchair accessible with toilets and lifts on site.

Accessible parking

There are 2 spaces are available for wheelchair accessible parking. You can locate the spaces to your left hand side as you enter the parking lot, which is also directly opposite the toilet block.
