Rhododendron Visit

Mid Canterbury Timebank is organising a get together at the beautiful Awa Awa Rata Reserve in the foothills about 40 mins from Ashburton. 

This time of year the rhododendrons should be in full bloom and there are LOTS of them. If you'd like to enjoy some fresh air and a stroll around the reserve, admiring the beautiful rhododendrons, then consider joining us. 

You can meet us there at 1.30pm or we could car pool from Community House, Ashburton, meeting at 12.30 (departing 12.40). If you'd like to bring a thermos or some afternoon tea to share, we could do that too (optional).

Anyone is welcome to join us, it's free. 

When you register  - just let us know if you'll meet us there at 1.30, would like a ride from Ashburton or if you have room for others in your car (from Ashburton). 

If the weather is looking dodgy or if we don't have enough interest, we will let those who have registered know that it is not happening - so please register.
