Rhythm & Books: Cable Area Music Festival

Join the Forest Lodge Library and the Katie Flowers Endowment at Rhythm & Books: Cable Area Music Festival, presented by Camp David Realty. We believe nothing brings people together like books and music. This is why we have planned an afternoon of fun for children, youth, and adults. Adult tickets are $10 and youth (those still in school) are free to attend. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or on the day of.

Come listen to talented artists, play lawn games, get your next read at our book sale, and join us for some "make it and take it" activities for all ages! Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Rhythm & Books is a fundraiser like no other—and one you won’t want to miss! The inaugural event will be hosted at the Cable Recreation Park on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a good time.

Musical guests include Ghost the Coyote, The Tinglers, and Phil Kitze & The Resonators. Get ready for all the fun by listening to our event playlist, including original music by the artists and songs inspired by their sets.
