RHYTHM, SOUND & FIELD RECORDING WORKSHOP

Join musicians and sound artists Chucho Bruno and Fin Wegener for a hands-on workshop exploring rhythm, percussion and the sounds of the natural world.

Young participants will:

• Explore percussion, rhythm and ensemble music-making with Chucho

• Make field recordings throughout Noosa Botanic Gardens with Fin

• Listen closely to birds, insects, wind, water, plants and other environmental sounds

• Help create the original soundscape for Honourable Harvest

The workshop will explore the sounds and rhythms of pollination, decomposition and seed dispersal—bringing our native bee, honeyeater, earthworm and fruit bat puppet characters to life.
