MORE ON ARISTS :

Mico Sundari
Voice Therapist | Nada Yogini

Born into a family rooted in the Japanese Shinto tradition, Mico Sundari has walked a profound healing path. After experiencing significant physical and mental health challenges from early childhood—and undergoing seven surgeries by her mid-twenties—she turned to holistic healing modalities and discovered the transformative power of the voice.

For over 13 years, Mico has been devoted to the practice of Nada Yoga, the Yoga of Sound. Her journey has been guided by masterful teachers including Gina Sala (international vocalist, Cirque du Soleil), Taro Terahara (renowned Bansuri player in Indian classical music), and her yogic partner Shivam Rath (Crystal Slide | Raga Retreat).

Mico’s remedial voice therapy sessions are highly respected and sought after by yoga teachers, therapists, healers, musicians, actors, and parents alike. Her work gently supports individuals in reconnecting with their true voice—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Now based in the Rainbow Shire (Byron Bay), Mico offers a range of offerings designed to awaken the healing power of sound. She is the founder and facilitator of New Moon Kirtan in Byron Bay, a tutor of Sanskrit, and a presenter on Byron Bay FM’s "Multicultural Nation".

Through the sacred tools of breath, mantra, and vocal expression, Mico empowers others to awaken their inner sanctuary and align with their soul’s intention—their "Sankalpa" (sacred purpose).
