Richmond Peonies PYO Peony Open Day 2025

Peonies are an addictive flower, our annual PYO peony open day is a wonderful family-friendly event, where you can wander amongst rows of peony bushes, picnic on the grass and pick your own blooms. Bring your own secateurs, learn how to pick a peony when it is ready to harvest. Each peony flower will be $5 per stem and we have a range of potted peonies for sale. There will be a BBQ fundraiser and the Salvation Army Coffee Van will be serving hot and cold drinks as they train young baristas.

Remember it is a farm paddock, so sensible shoes please. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome! Plenty of parking on site.

We ticket our open day so we can provide the best and safest visitor experience. Funds from the tickets are donated to Tasmania's Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary which operates a 24 hr wildlife rescue service and manages a number of wildlife conservation programs.

PLEASE NOTE! We are absolutely at the vagaries of the weather! We hope and plan for good weather on the day and for the peonies to flower on cue, but we trust you understand that sometimes things don't perform as expected, if the event has to be cancelled or re-scheduled, we offer a refund on tickets.
