Ride To Walk With Freedom: Everesting for Lipedema Awareness!
Event description
Join me for the first ride to raise awareness for Lipedema, the Everesting Challenge on Saturday, 25th January.
To raise awareness for Lipedema, I’ll be cycling up and down Beechmont 26 times—around 24 hours of continuous cycling and climbing, no sleep — covering 8,848 metres of elevation, the height of Mount Everest.
Special Guest: Leon Rebello, LNP Candidate for McPherson, will join us to amplify your voices and advocate for Lipedema recognition in the House of Representatives. This is a unique opportunity to advocate for better recognition and support for Lipedema at a federal level.
This event is not just for cyclists – it’s for all Lipedema supporters!
How to Join:
- 10:00 AM @ Syd Duncan Park – Enjoy music, coffee, and a light brekkie! First 50 attendees get free Ride to Walk with Freedom T-shirts. Don’t forget to wear pink!Â
-  On the Road – Spot me cycling? Honk your horn to cheer me on!
- If you love to cycle up hills, meet at the base of Beechmont at 9.00am ready to join me on my final lap, leaving the base promptly at 9.15am
Your energy and presence will make all the difference. Let’s come together, raise awareness, and Conquer Lipedema.
See you there!
