This workshop will:

Unpack what emotion dysregulation is, how to identify it, and what the impacts of emotion dysregulation are on the brain and body

Explore how to support clients to identify their "early warning signs" of emotion dysregulation

Introduce concepts such as the "window of tolerance" and the "brain-body connection" Briefly introduce participants to mental health conditions which frequently present with emotion dysregulation symptoms, including Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma and Oppositional Defiant Disorder

Explore a variety of practical interventions for emotion dysregulation drawn from therapeutic frameworks such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
