Description

We would love for you to join us at the Ridley College Annual Dinner on Friday, 6 November at 6:30 pm, to celebrate the Lord’s blessings to us in 2026, and look forward to the next season in the College’s life. We can be confident in the Lord to guide us in developing our vision for the future.

This year, we are excited to welcome Bishop Richard Condie back to Ridley to share something of his own renewed vision for Tasmania, and to hear stories of lives transformed by the gospel in his diocese. Relative to population, Tasmania has more Ridley online students than anywhere else!

We will also be hearing from students currently supported by our Student Scholarship Fund, who will share how this initiative is shaping their preparation for ministry. Their stories are a powerful reminder of what's possible when the College community invests in the next generation of leaders for the church.

So at the dinner we want to invite you to continue your partnership with us in giving to the Student Scholarship Fund. Your support means men and women can pursue their call to ministry without the stress of the cost of living or other financial pressures standing in their way.

Let’s walk this path together.

Speaker

  • Bishop Richard Condie

    Bishop Richard Condie

Richard Condie is the 12th Bishop of Tasmania who commenced his role in 2016. Since then, he has led the diocese to align around a vision to be a church for Tasmania, making disciples of Jesus. A number of parishes have been revitalised in both leadership and mission over that time. Plans are well established to plant new churches in Tasmania, and leaders are being raised up. Richard is the Chair of the Anglican Relief and Development Fund Australia, and Chairman of the Anglican Relief and Development Fund Global, and is on the board of Gafcon Australia. He has also chaired the Mission and Ministry Commission for the Anglican Church of Australia leading the Hope25 movement. Prior to coming to Tasmania, he was Vicar of St Jude’s Carlton in Melbourne and a Lecturer in New Testament at Ridley College. He is married to Helen, and they have two adult children and one grandchild.
