"Techno as Resistance Reclaiming the Underground in Brisbane"

In Brisbane’s current music scene, we’re increasingly aware that commercialization is diluting authenticity. What we want to emphasize is the importance of bringing techno back to its underground roots. By "underground," we don’t mean being obscure or experimental for the sake of it, but rather committing to building sonic communities that exist at the edges of mainstream culture as acts of resistance.
