Pathways to Opportunity: School Based Traineeship Partnership Launch and Procurement Opportunities | Rio Tinto and The Apprentice and Traineeship Company

ACCI Members and industry guests are invited to join us to celebrate the official Albany launch of the Rio Tinto and Apprentice and Traineeship Company (ATC) partnership — an initiative designed to provide meaningful career pathways for high school students while supporting local Great Southern businesses. The partnership reflects a joint commitment to supporting the skill development of young people and building a pipeline of local talent for the future.

Following the launch, the event will shift focus to an Introduction to Procurement Opportunities with Rio Tinto. This session will provide valuable insights for local businesses interested in becoming suppliers for Rio Tinto Iron Ore. Attendees will learn how to engage with Rio Tinto’s procurement processes, register as a supplier and find upcoming procurement opportunities. The event will conclude with a networking social sundowner.

•     4.30pm – Guest arrival

•            4.45pm – ATC school based traineeship partnership launch and formal presentations

•            5.10pm – ATC school based traineeship networking and photos

•            5.30pm – ATC school based traineeship partnership launch concludes

•            5.40pm – Introduction to procurement presentation and Q&A

•            6.10pm – Business networking and social sundowner

•            6.45pm – Event concludes

All guests are welcome to attend both the Apprentice and Traineeship Company school based traineeship launch and procurement presentation. Guests may attend the procurement presentation and sundowner only but are asked to arrive at 5.30pm.
