Riot Baby - My Body My Choice Single Launch w/ Boggle @ Northcote Uniting Hall
Event description
Riot Baby are launching their brand new single My Body My Choice with synth-bari-sax exploders Boggle at the Northcote Uniting Hall.
Yes, that's right, a punk gig that you can take your kids to, right in the heart of Northcote at an accessible, public-transport friendly venue, surrounded by ice-cream shops!
Note: Volume will be at a level for little ears to enjoy, but many kids are more comfortable with hearing protection. We will have a few pairs available to borrow if you get caught short, but buying a pair of cans from your local hardware store is a good investment in your kid's gig-going future!
Run sheet:
10:00am - Doors
10:30am - 11:00am - Boggle
11:15am - 12:00pm - Riot Baby
12:30pm - Everybody out!

Riot Baby is a punk band for kids, by kids and parents. They make fast and loud music for little people, and the big people that take them to gigs.
Formed in late-2019 when they began making punk versions of Australian kids books, Riot Baby write songs about navigating late-stage capitalism, pandemics, disasters, bullies, and big feelings.
Featuring past and present members of Vardos, CircusOz, Tek-Tek Ensemble, Gamelan DanAnda, Teeny Tiny Stevies and more, Riot Baby play sticky carpet pubs, major festivals and everywhere in between.
In 2023 Riot Baby was nominated for the APRA Song of the Year at the Major Minor Music Australia Awards for their song Listen to Your Mum.
Boggle is what Boggle does, boggling minds with an explosive sonic onslaught of baritone sax, synth bass, drums, guitar, and a swirling mix of captivating noise. The powerhouse trio delivers high-energy, performative, unpredictable and immersive shows that are not forgotten.
Bursting onto the scene at the 86 Festival in late 2023, Boggle quickly made waves, landing a spot at New Zealand’s iconic Camp A Low Hum where they truly found their identity as a band. Upon returning from NZ they spent a the year playing prolifically to audiences in Melbourne and honing their sound through the DIY process of recording their debut album which was later mixed and mastered by Nao Anzai at Rolling Stock Studios.
The trio is now hitting harder than ever, delivering unforgettable shows in the lead-up to the album’s launch.
Boggle is Anna Gordon (Firetail, Melbourne Ska Orchestra), Rosie Leway (David Bridie, Georgia Knight), and Toby Johnson (Grim Fawkner, Alister Turrill).
