Experience the vibrant and dynamic abstract paintings, where bold compositions and lively brushwork bring to life the interplay of colour, form, and texture. The exhibition extends to include oil paintings, concrete works, kinetic sculptures, short films, and an all-encompassing soundscape. Parker's work offers a sensory journey through his emotional and artistic exploration.
The unique warehouse-style space of The Stables, with its concrete floors and gable ceiling, will host this immersive exhibition across three areas. An urban environment with concrete and rubble creates a fragmented landscape that reflects both the resilience and impermanence of the cityscape. Here, Parker replaces canvas with concrete to symbolise the delicate nature of our society and the constructed environments we inhabit.
Visitors are invited to view an exhibition of works and explore a boutique shop featuring a selection of the artist's signature pieces including a range of prints, tapestries and totes.
Opening Night sessions are 1.5 hours, allowing guests time to view the works and mingle.
