What to expect
This session has been designed for senior leaders and Board members to understand their role in a child and youth safe organisation. Leaders set the tone and culture of an organisation and are responsible for establishing clear child safe governance protocols and ensuring their organisation meets the requirements of the Child Safe Standards.
This session helps leaders understand the legislation and their responsibilities, as well as their role in building a culture of child safety. We look at barriers organisations face as well as strategies to build and maintain child safe environments.
