This three-hour virtual workshop builds on Understanding Risk Management and also serves as a highly effective stand-alone learning opportunity, designed to deepen understanding and support professional development.

The training explores risk governance in a disability context and aligning strategies with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators. Participants will learn how to develop Clinical Governance Frameworks to identify gaps, ensure quality and safety, and understand the roles of boards, management committees and executive teams in overseeing risk.

Gain practical tools to strengthen risk governance, manage risk effectively, and drive continuous improvement for better outcomes. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your organisation’s practices.

Facilitated by Sharon Paley, a professional with over 40 years of experience in the disability sector, specialising in organisational risk management and risk assessments. She has extensive knowledge in safeguarding, focusing on reducing risks to improve safety and well-being for people.

She is passionate about improving service delivery and outcomes through proactive risk management, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
