Back by popular demand, Rita’s Longest Lunch returns in 2025 celebrating traditional European long lunches while enjoying sensational live entertainment and raising funds for the College in a sparkling afternoon of good food and great company.

Rita’s Longest Lunch is presented in a traditional European long lunch style where parents, alumnae and friends of St Rita’s can indulge in their preferred culinary experience along grand tables. Skilled food and wine lovers, contemporary culinary artisans, or those who prefer a home-packed hamper or food delivery will delight in this stunning afternoon at St Rita’s enjoying time with friends and sensational live music from Beccy and the Jets.

Tickets cost just $560 per table of 8 or $70 for a single (1 person) ticket by pre-purchase only. For single tickets, every attempt will be made to sit you with families from the same year level.

Rita's Longest Lunch is a BYO food event. If you prefer not to cook or prepare your own, we have preferred suppliers you can purchase through – more details to come. A selection of Australian sparkling, wine and beer will be available for purchase at the event (EFTPOS only). Champagne is only available via pre-purchase and will not be sold on the day. Water is provided at each setting. No BYO beverage is permitted, including non-alcoholic.

Rita's Longest Lunch is an 18+ years event only.

Booking options:

A table of 8 - Full payment and contact details for all 8 guests is required at the time of booking (seats cannot be 'reserved', for later payment). Please note: Each table accommodates a maximum of 8 guests. At the time of booking, the name, email, and mobile number for each guest is required. Please ensure this information is accurate, as it will be used for event updates and emergency contact purposes. Individual attendees within a table of 8 can pre-purchase Champagne without purchasing tickets. 

Single Tickets - When booking single tickets, please indicate your daughter's year level. Every attempt will be made to sit you with families from the same year level.


What you need to know before you book:

• Our Long Lunch is set up in the traditional long table style. 
  
• Entry Tickets and pre-purchased Champagne packages are non-refundable.
• Food cannot be purchased at the event. This is a BYO food event, so you can be as creative or simple as you like. Details of preferred catering suppliers will be shared with attendees. 
• No BYO or delivered beverages are permitted, including non-alcoholic. A selection of Australian Sparkling, Wine and Beer will be available for purchase at the event. Champagne may only be pre-purchased with tickets and will not be available for purchase at the event.
• Quality table settings including plate, knife, fork, napkin, glassware and water are provided at each setting.
• Heating and cooking facilities are not available.
