Rita's Longest Lunch 2026

Rita’s Longest Lunch returns in 2026 celebrating traditional European long lunches while enjoying sensational live entertainment and raising funds for the College's Cocurricular Music Department in a sparkling afternoon of good food and great company.

Rita’s Longest Lunch is presented in a traditional European long lunch style where parents, alumnae and friends of St Rita’s can indulge in their preferred culinary experience along grand tables. Skilled food and wine lovers, contemporary culinary artisans, or those who prefer a home-packed hamper or food delivery will delight in this stunning afternoon at St Rita’s enjoying time with friends and sensational live music from First Summer.

Booking details:

Single Tickets - Each table accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. You will be asked to select your seat location. To sit with your friends be sure to share your selected table and seat numbers. Due to the nature and size of the event, changes to table positions cannot be made after purchase. Please ensure guest information is accurate, as it will be used for event updates and emergency contact purposes. 

Individual attendees can pre-purchase Champagne and Centenary Hats without purchasing tickets. Please click 'Get Tickets' and then click 'Skip to Add-ons'.

Add-ons

• Piper Heidsieck NV Champagne and Veuve Clicquot Champagne only available if pre-purchased prior to 10:00am on Wednesday 10 June. Please collect from the Bar on arrival. Please note, Champagne will not be available for purchase at the event.

• St Rita's College Centenary Caps can both be pre-purchased and purchased at the Longest Lunch event. Pre-purchased Hats open for purchasing prior to 10:00am on Monday 8 June.

Please ensure you place your order before Wednesday 10 June as they will NOT be sold on the day. Each box will be delivered to Hogan Place (the event location) and will be at a designated place for you to collect on the day (this will be communicated to you in due course).  

$10 from every catering box purchased will be donated to St Rita’s Music Support Group. 

What you need to know before you book:

• Rita's Longest Lunch is an 18+ years event.

• Our Long Lunch is set up in the traditional long table style. 

• Entry Tickets, pre-purchased Champagne and Centenary Hat packages are non-refundable.

• Food cannot be purchased at the event. This is a BYO food event, so you can be as creative or simple as you like. Details of preferred catering suppliers will be shared with attendees. 

• No BYO or delivered beverages are permitted, including non-alcoholic. A selection of Sparkling, Wine and Beer will be available for purchase at the event (EFTPOS only). Champagne may only be pre-purchased as an add-on and will not be available for purchase at the event.

• Quality table settings including plate, knife, fork, napkin, glassware and water are provided at each setting.

• Heating and cooking facilities are not available.
