Description
Rituals of Rest is a virtual sanctuary - a gentle, nourishing space to unwind your nervous system and settle into deep, restorative rest.
In each session, you’ll be guided through meditation practices designed to support your body and mind in cultivating a deep sense of ease and compassion.
Our time together may include:
A short check-in or reflection
A guided 20-minute rest practice
Space at the end to share, reflect, or simply savour the silence
There are multiple sessions you can choose from throughout the week:
Morning weekday sessions (20 minutes)
These are simple and spacious. You’re welcome to arrive 10 minutes early to do any self-care practice that feels supportive (journaling, stretching, tea, sitting quietly) together in silence, followed by a 20-minute guided meditation.
Evening sessions (40 minutes)
These include a short sharing circle (10–15 minutes) with a gentle reflective prompt, followed by a 20-minute guided meditation practice. There’s optional space at the end to share or rest in silence together.
Sunday morning sessions follow the same structure as the evening sessions.
In turbulent and uncertain times, this is a space I hope can feel like a sanctuary. If you’ve had a hard week, if you’re tired, tender, or overwhelmed — you are so welcome to arrive exactly as you are.
This space is whatever you need it to be.
With all my love,
Gianna

Who is the Facilitator?
Gianna is a gentle and compassionate meditation teacher of Sri Lankan Australian heritage, informed by her upbringing within Theravada Buddhist tradition and childhood nourished by mindfulness practices. These principles and virtues guided her towards serving young people since 2015, providing them with a safe space to lean into vulnerability in order to build empathy and self-awareness.
She is deeply passionate about building a sense of home within community, as striving towards greater wellness and self-development can easily become a very isolated journey. Gianna has since combined ancient eastern philosophy and her degree in psychology to bring forward a holistic understanding of self-healing. Gianna creates a safe container for all people to arrive as they are, accompanying participants with every step as they unveil their own wisdom through her gentle inquiry.
