Join Ecoversity and the Aquatic Animals Special Group (AASIG) and Wildlife Exotics Special Interest Group (WESIG) for a special screening at the Stefanson Lecture Theatre for UoA Sustainability Week 2022 with popcorn and Fairtrade chocolate provided by Ecoversity.
Australian filmmaker, Jennifer Peedom's follow-up to Mountain (2017), River is a mix of sublime cinematography, score by the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood and Kalkadunga didgeridoo player and vocalist William Barton and narration by Willem Dafoe. It is a profound cinematic and musical reflection on how rivers have shaped both the planet’s elaborate landscapes and all human existence.
