River health kayak trip Inverell - Friday 30 October

Join Northern Tablelands Local Land Services for a unique kayaking adventure on Lake Inverell. Launching from the recreational area, we’ll paddle toward the National Park, where we will look out for turtles, fish, birds and lizards.

As we explore, we share insights on local biodiversity and practical ways we can all help protect these species. This is a hands-on opportunity to connect with nature, learn from an expert, and understand how small actions can help wildlife thrive.

Additional details:

• Please wear clothing suitable for kayaking; you may get wet.

• Please bring a broad hat and sunscreen, as you will be in the sun on the water.

• All safety gear, kayaks and morning tea will be provided.
