Event description

The inaugural River Ramble for Reconciliation will be held on 1 June, 2025. A family and dog friendly community walk along the Maribyrnong River in support of the Reconciliation journey to Treaty and beyond. The walk will commence at Grimes Reserve and following a Welcome to Country and Yarn with Bunurong, Tyereelore and Trawoolway man, Robert Ogden, will proceed along the Maribyrnong River to Footscray Rowing Club and return. You can walk some or all of the way according to your ability and time available. You can even run if you want to! A Prize Draw, for those who register, will be held in Grimes Reserve between 12:30 and 1pm.

When: Sunday, 1 June 2025, 10am to 1pm
