River Tubing Adventure CHI

NEW DATE - SUNDAY AUGUST 11TH

Join us and BPO (scroll down for info on BPO) for River tubing on Sunday, August 11th. You’ll enjoy a scenic, lazy, and fun trip floating down the river. Our tubing journey lasts approximately 3 hours, giving you the best river tubing experience. We'll be tubing the Tippecanoe River in Winamac, Indiana. We'll have plenty of drinks provided for you on the float.

We'll meet up at Union Park Field House to kick off the day. We'll have beers and other Beverages for you to enjoy on this adventure! Feel free to bring beverages of your own on the trip too. 

YOU'LL NEED TO BRING WATER SHOES/AQUA-SOCKS. EVERYONE MUST HAVE SOMETHING ON THEIR FEET! Please also bring your lunch.

• 09:30 am (CST) – Meet at The Union Park Field House
• 10:00 AM (CST) – Depart
• 01:30 PM (EST) – Arrive at Tubing Destination
• 5:15 PM (EST)- Depart back to home

We've Partnered with BPO Hikes, a nonprofit operating out of Chicago, IL. Our goal is to assist our BIPOC community (particularly those of African American descent) in igniting their passion for adventure and exploring new outdoor activities. This summer we have made a strong effort to support local organizations that have like minded interests and Outsiders Chi has been a great addition to the Chicagoland outdoor community, thus making it only right that we collaborate to present an accessible and enjoyable event for the people

At the heart of our mission is community. As we discover new neighborhoods, we acknowledge the vital role local businesses play in breathing life into them. To strengthen these bonds, all food features at Outsider Chicago events are sourced directly from community favorites. Come join us for an outdoor experience, where the best parts of nature blend seamlessly with the warmth of a community meal, creating opportunities for connections and good vibes with amazing people.

A portion of the proceeds from this adventure will go towards raising funds for Gardeneers.
