An early start sets the tone for a wonderful two-day getaway as we depart the depot at 8:00am, picking up our fellow travellers along the way. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey as we head south, getting to know each other and settling into holiday mode.

Our first stop is in Bulahdelah, where we’ll enjoy a comforting morning tea break at Wade Park —just what’s needed to kick-start the day.

Continuing south, we make our way to Cameron Park for a delicious lunch at Harrigan's Cameron Park. After lunch, we stretch our legs with a leisurely wander through the peaceful Mount Penang Gardens, taking in the beautifully landscaped surroundings and fresh air.

This afternoon brings a sweet highlight as we visit The Chocolate Factory, Gosford—the perfect place to indulge in a little treat or pick up something special.

From here, we head to our overnight accommodation at Galaxy Motel, where you can settle in and freshen up before dinner. Tonight, we enjoy a relaxed evening with dinner at the adjoining club, sharing stories and looking forward to tomorrow’s adventure.

Riverboat Postman & Home (BMTLAT)

Friday 9th October

After breakfast, we travel to the charming riverside village of Brooklyn, nestled along the Hawkesbury River, where a truly unique experience awaits.

Today’s highlight is the iconic Riverboat Postman Cruise. Step aboard and enjoy a relaxing cruise as we follow the historic mail run, delivering post and supplies to remote river-access communities. Along the way, take in the stunning scenery, fascinating commentary, and laid-back pace of life along the river. Morning tea and lunch are served onboard, allowing you to sit back, unwind, and fully enjoy this memorable experience. After docking around 1:00pm, we begin our journey home, stopping along the way at the scenic Grahamstown Dam Lookout. Here we’ll enjoy a cuppa, stretch our legs, and reflect on the wonderful moments shared over the past two days. Returning home late afternoon, we farewell new friends and take with us fond memories of a relaxed and enjoyable Central Coast escape.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given:

42 days or more—loss of deposit

29-41 days: 50% of fare plus deposit

30 days before and the Day of departure: 100% of the fare.
