ROAR Choir Showcase
Description
ROAR CHOIR SHOWCASE 2026
22 years of ROAR. One big night of music, harmony, a lil bit of Bowie, an awesome choir, a brilliant rock band and a whole lot of heart.
ROAR Choir is now 22 - and thats too too too good an opportunity to pass up celebrating the best way we know how: by getting on stage and singing our hearts out for YOU!
We welcome you to join us for a big, joyful night of music as the ROARies bring you the songs we've been singing, learning, laughing and working on throughout the year, all brought to life with the fabulous sound of a three-piece live rock band featuring some of Brisbane's best musicians. Dave McGuire on guitar, Joachim Alfheim on Drums and Will Sargisson on keys.
Expect big harmonies, funky, groove based, rock, pop, plenty of personality and the unmistakable ROAR spirit.
AND SPEAKING OF BOWIE...
2026 marks 10 years since David Bowie left us, 👨🎤🌠 so we're also slipping in a special mini David Bowie tribute to celebrate one of music's great originals.
Whether you've been part of the ROAR family for years, know one of our singers, or have never seen us before, you're very welcome.
Come for the music. Stay for the atmosphere, licensed bar, pre show entertainment, cheer for your friends. Sing along when you know the words.
From this Miss, after 22 golden years with this delightful choir, dont be a lad insane, coz it's going to be 2, two, too good a night to miss!
