Robertstown Wandering Tales

You're invited on a Rural Ramble to Robertstown as Foliage & Food hosts Wandering Tales where you will get to hear some local yarns & enjoy a light afternoon tea from 1pm till 3pm Sunday.

Join us under the silos of Robertstown for stories of starting over, regrowth and nature making a comeback. Hosted by award-winning playwright and theatre maker, Fleur Kilpatrick, settle in for an afternoon of tales from nature as three local storytellers take to the stage (well, it’s more of a campfire than a stage). With hot drinks and damper on offer, this cozy country event will celebrate the resilience of people and our environment. Perhaps you might even want to share a story of your own. You’ll get a chance! We’ll pass the open mic around.

To make it a real Rural Ramble, there are some extra opportunities over the weekend.

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October:

Old Store 17 will be open between 10am & 1pm serving tea, coffee and light snacks @ 1 Commercial Street Robertstown.

Saturday 10th October:

Speed Shear event where you will get to witness some elite shearing from the local legends of the shears in our community @ the Robbie Hotel, 1 Main Road, Robertstown. Time TBA closer to the event.

Sunday 11th October:

'A changing garden of many rooms' offers you the opportunity to see the unique and inspiring open garden of Chris and Deb from 10am - late (if you want to see the night garden and lights) @ 8 Corey Street, Robertstown.

Country Market and Car Boot Sale will give you the opportunity to search through treasures from 10am till 4pm.

Location. The paddock between the Robbie Hotel & Tschirns Mechanical.

Garage Sale Trail is developing throughout the town over the weekend. Keep an eye out for future updates.
