Event description

Don't miss this laugh-out-loud comedy suitable for the whole family! Making Robin Hood is a clever and chaotic play directed by Jane Hille, featuring Swan Christian College alumni.

Making Robin Hood is about a group of actors preparing a comic play for an annual medieval theatre festival.  The festival requires that each group rework a traditional medieval myth, and ‘take it off ‘ or ‘twist’ it somehow. The director has decided to do a feminine reinterpretation of the very masculine Robin Hood story with a cast of mainly men. No end of nonsense ensures as the troupe navigate both the 14-century story, a dragon and the very useless director’s assistant who thinks she can act!
