Jeff Usher’s Forty Years of Jazz concert series continues on Saturday 21 June at JMI Live, with a very special event featuring singer Lynn Rogers, presenting her show, ‘Rogers Sings Hart’.
The songwriting partnership of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart produced some of the best loved songs of the twentieth century, gems such as ‘My Funny Valentine’, ‘With a Song in my Heart’, ‘Manhattan’, ‘My Romance’, ‘Falling in Love with Love’ and ‘I Could Write a Book’.
Lynn Rogers brings these songs to life along with the story of their lyricist Lorenz Hart, accompanied by Jeff at the piano.
Lynn’s six-decade career has taken her all around the world. She met Jeff in Auckland New Zealand in 2014, and the two have remained good friends ever since.
