Role of the Return to Work Coordinator - VIC

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Avoid potential fines. Know your rehabilitation obligations and facilitate a smooth transition back to productivity.

This WorkSafe Victoria endorsed Return to Work program is designed to equip RTW Coordinators with the tools they need to effectively manage return to work under the requirements of the legislation and the principles of effective injury management.

Returning injured employees is an important part of their rehabilitation. An unsuccessful or prolonged return to work can be detrimental to your staff and your organisation. Additionally, the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act requires employers to meet certain obligations regarding occupational rehabilitation and the return of injured workers to work. Failure to meet these obligations can expose you to significant fines and potential prosecution.

This course covers the importance of establishing and implementing return to work plans that give the best chance of measuring a worker's compliance, and the consequences should a worker fail to meet their obligations under the Act.

A WorkSafe endorsed Certificate will be provided upon full participation in the two-day RTWC program.

This year, exclusively for our EML customers, this course will be offered for free.
