Course outline:
This workshop provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply risk management principles as an integral part of an effective WHS / OHS management system. The course incorporates a number of real life case studies and practical exercises.
Recommended for:
This course is applicable for a national audience and is aimed at WHS personnel and other WHS risk management professionals.
About the Trainer: Meg Hansson - Learning & Development Specialist, EML
Meg has worked in workers’ compensation, return to work and occupational health and safety for over 20 years. During this time Meg has applied her skills, knowledge and experience in a range of roles including as a trainer and facilitator, learning designer, advisor, Mental Health and WHS Specialist. Meg has extensive experience interpreting legislation and is passionate about helping learners achieve their career and study goals.
Meg holds a Diploma of Workplace Health and Safety, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Fitness and a Diploma of Human Resources.
