Roller Disco at The Vault

Take your pick from learn to skate classes, roller dance classes, themed rink sessions, and roller discos. There’s something for everyone: kids, families and adults, new skaters to advanced skate dancers. 

Expect a candy bar, great music and disco lights, comfy seating, warm drinks and good old retro vibes. Roller discos will feature live DJs spinning classic hits for that extra dose of nostalgia, and all the contemporary tunes will be laid down for the young ones.

Each session will be hosted by highly skilled RollerFit instructors and Roller Promotions performers to teach you how to skate and show off their skills.

**Book your skates for discos in advance in the ticketing section. For classes, you can hire your skates on the day and no need to pre-book. If Skate Hire for your session is sold out, it means that most the the most popular sizes are gone for that session. Although, you can still come and try your luck for skate hire!**

If your skate hire session is not listed, that means there are no skate hire pre-sale tickets available, yet you can still come try your luck!

• The Vault is a a giant pillar-free concrete warehouse - a new venue at Canberra's Dairy Road, available from May to August 2024. 
• Dairy Road has lots of free parking alongside eateries, outlets, and galleries, to make a whole day of it.  
• No food or drink on the rink in case it becomes a trip hazard! 
• No alcohol allowed while skating, and no BYO. 
• You are welcome to BYO snacks and NA drinks. 
• Skate hire in kids and adult sizes will be available on the day. See skate hire tickets in the ticketing section of this event. 
• If you (or your kids) wish to wear a helmet or knee guards, please bring your own. 
• Wrist guards will be available for hire. 
• Rollerblades are welcome at the rink. However, we will only have roller skates for hire. 
• First aid will be on site for any spills. 

Parking There is plenty of parking around The Vault, including disabled parking. 

Food will be available from various outlets within the Dairy Road precinct, such as Capital Brewery, Canteen and Contentious Character. The Vault bar will be serving coffee, tea, drinks and small snacks.

Toilets and Baby Change These are located within building 3.3, adjacent to The Vault. 

Cloak room If you are hiring skates, there will be somewhere for you to leave your shoes. 

Accessibility An accessible ramp is available for mobility vehicles, wheelchairs and prams to enter The Vault.

Sound and hearing Music will be played at 82-25 decibels designed for children’s ears. 

Surrounding Precinct The Dairy Road offers gardens, a gallery, brewery, ramen shop, winery, Kidzplore, chocolate shop, yoga studios and more. See dairyroad.com.au for a map and list of options. 

Seating There will be some comfortable seating for parents and children to rest and put on skates.
