Rolling Hill Foray June 2024

Join the Lower Merion Conservancy and the Philly Myco Club at our next mushroom foray, June 23rd!

Meet outside the Lower Merion Conservancy cottage at 1pm (to the left as you drive into the park, away from the dog park). After a brief introduction we will break apart to look for mushrooms. If it is your first time and/or you feel like you need guidance you will be able to follow more experienced members. 

With this weeks temperature beginning to soar and Sunday looking like a scorcher, we wanted to change things up to accommodate you all. We will have additional cool summer treats and drinks as well as canopy covers to cool off under in the shade. Guests are encouraged to bring any additional snacks too as we hope this to be more of a lowkey mushroom picnic event. With that in mind,  the foray will be more free flowing with an ongoing ID table folks can contribute to throughout the event. A few short guided walks will still occur, however not for the duration of the event like we typically do. Please dress for the weather and terrain. Feel free to reach out with any questions, we appreciate your understanding and hope to see you there! 

Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks. Children are welcome to attend. Dogs are also welcome, but we ask you to keep them on leash at all times.
