Roma Satellite Event - Queensland Volunteering Conference

Volunteering Queensland is pleased to facilitate Satellite Events at key locations across the state as part of the 2026 Queensland Volunteering Conference. 

This Satellite Event is proudly partnering with Maranoa Regional Council to provide an opportunity for regional and local communities to connect with the conference experience in a way that is accessible, community-led, and locally relevant. They are designed to foster regional collaboration, strengthen local volunteer networks, encourage peer connection and discussion, and create opportunities for shared learning across Queensland’s volunteering sector.

Tickets for the two-day event are normally $38 per person, however, thanks to generous grant funding from Queensland Gives, tickets to the Roma event are fully funded and free for attendees. Simply register for the event and the ticket amount will automatically reduce to $0 at checkout.

Satellite Hosts play an important role in creating a welcoming and engaging local experience that complements the broader conference program.
