    High Life Cajun (Cajun) The High Life Cajun Band plays straight out Cajun dance music. The sounds and rhythms of a Friday night dance in southwest Louisiana are alive and kicking when this band begins to play. With the accordion and fiddle at the helm of the melody, and the guitar and bass bringing the rhythm, the melodies of Acadiana pulse and push dancers across the floor. The line-up for this Gunnison show includes Mat LaFleur on Accordion, Ben Guzman on fiddle, Angela Wood on guitar and Colin Gould on bass. Angela Wood will lead a lesson on the basics of Cajun Partner Dancing to start the night.

    High Life Cajun (Cajun) The High Life Cajun Band plays straight out Cajun dance music.     Gypsy Jazz Social Club (Swing) Mysterious... yet strangely familiar, Gypsy Jazz Social Club showcases their take on acoustic jazz and swing styles including Latin, Gypsy, Bebop, traditional and original music. Each GJSC line-up is drawn from a consortium of Colorado’s Western Slope musicians with a history of diverse musical projects and instrumentation. Guitar, Voice, Band Director- Les Choy “El Chino”; Saxophones- Erin Geye; Guitar: Tom MacFarlane; Upright Bass- Kevin Donovan, Drumset: Brett Darby Price John Unger will lead a lesson on Swing Dancing to start the night.

    Big Silly Stringband (Square Dance) Joining forces to create a traditional Southern Appalachian old-time square dance band are Lizzy Plotkin (fiddle, guitar), Matt Lackey (fiddle, guitar), Madeline Shugert (banjo) and Matt Shugert (Upright bass). The night of dancing is lead by caller Andrea Earley-Coen. There will not be a dance lesson this week - just 3 hours of square dancing and waltzing. No prior experience necessary. Come as you are!
