ROOTED IN HER🌿
A Restorative Gathering for BIPOC Women
Saturday, November 7, 2026 | 3:00–6:00 PM
Temple of the Awakening Heart | Leicester, North Carolina
✨Release. Reconnect. Reclaim.✨
Rooted in Her is an intimate, three-hour restorative gathering created for BIPOC women, by BIPOC women — a space to soften, be witnessed, reconnect with the body, honor what we carry, and remember the wisdom, power, and belonging already rooted within us.
Together, we will move through five intentional movements — Arrival, Release, Reconnection, Reclamation, and Remembrance — each unfolding into the next through breath, movement, sound, nature, ancestral wisdom, intuitive practice, ritual, and community.
This is not a space that asks you to perform your healing.
Come as you are.
Come carrying your tenderness, your joy, your exhaustion, your becoming, your grief, your softness, your power.
There is room for all of her here.
The Journey
Arrival-We arrive as we are
Our gathering begins by slowing down and crossing the threshold together. We’ll be welcomed into the space with cacao, intention, and connection to the land, allowing time to settle into our bodies and into the presence of one another. Before anything is asked of us, we arrive — held in a space created by and for women of color.
Release-We make room
Through breath, movement, sound, and embodied practice, we’re invited to notice what has been carried — and what may be ready to soften, move, or be laid down. Release here is not about forcing an emotional experience or asking anyone to disclose their story. It is permission: to breathe deeper, move freely, make sound, be still, rest, or simply listen to what the body is asking for.
Reconnection-We turn inward
As space opens, we turn toward what remains beneath the noise. Through sound, stillness, reflection, and connection with the elements, we’re invited back into relationship with body, spirit, intuition, and the wisdom that lives within us. This is a space for listening — to ourselves, to the Earth, and to what has been waiting quietly to be heard.
Reclamation-We call ourselves forward
From that place of reconnection, we turn toward what we are ready to choose, embody, and reclaim. Through intuitive practice, ancestral reflection, intention, and ritual, we honor the parts of ourselves that are asking to be lived more fully — our voice, our joy, our softness, our boundaries, our dreams, our power. Not becoming someone new, but reclaiming what has always belonged to us.
Remembrance- We carry it home
We close in circle, honoring what has moved through the space and the women who have witnessed one another within it. Remembrance is our integration — a moment to gather what we have touched and carry it beyond the gathering. We leave not with an expectation to be transformed, but with an invitation to remember: the wisdom within our bodies, the strength of our lineages, the medicine of community, and the parts of ourselves we are choosing not to abandon again.
Your Space Holders
Rooted in Her is held collaboratively by a collective of BIPOC women, each bringing her own practice, wisdom, and medicine into the circle.

WHO THIS GATHERING IS FOR
Rooted in Her is intentionally created as a space for Black, Indigenous, Latina and other women of color.
We name this clearly because representation matters. There is a particular kind of exhale that can happen when we gather in spaces where our bodies, stories, cultures, and ways of knowing do not require explanation.
This gathering centers the remembrance, restoration, joy, power, and ancestral wisdom of women of color.
You are invited to arrive exactly as you are.
Come to arrive.
Come to remember.
Come to release.
Come to reconnect.
Come to reclaim.
Come home to yourself.
Rooted in nature.
Guided by resonance.
Held in community.
Remembering your essence.
