On Sunday, 26th January, from 8 am to 12 pm, join us for Roots for the Future, a free tree-planting event where we’ll work together to restore riparian health and foster a stronger connection to the land and community. This Australia Day, let’s focus on healing our land together and creating roots for tomorrow.
🌱 What to Expect:
- Tree planting along local waterways to improve biodiversity and the health of riparian zones, contributing to a vital riparian revival.
- Insightful discussions about the importance of caring for Country, and how we can restore and reconnect with the natural environment.
- Opportunities to grow together as a community, planting trees for tomorrow and strengthening our bond with the land.
🥗 Light Lunch Provided:
After a morning of meaningful work, enjoy a light lunch as we reflect on the day and the connection to Country we’ve nurtured.
Bring a hat, gloves, sturdy shoes, and a water bottle. All tools and plants will be provided.
