Event description

Roots Yoga: Yoga, Nature & Connection
A monthly community-minded grass roots yoga practice in an outdoor setting

September Class
at Warrandyte State Park
Sunday 8th September
9am - 10:30am

Welcome
to a mindful outdoors yoga practice.

Held by the banks of the Birrarung, surrounded by gumtrees and wildlife, you will be guided through a 90-minute nature inspired yoga and meditation journey.

The yoga is inclusive, and options will be provided for both beginners and experienced yogis. We will end with meditation, allowing you to cultivate deep presence and connection to yourself and the world around you.

Afterwards, there is the option to stay and connect with others, walk the wild paths through Warrandyte State Park, and even take a cheeky dip in the river if the weather is nice.

What's included:

  • Guided yoga & meditation
  • All yoga mats and props
  • Thermos of herbal tea

What to bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Mug for tea
  • Blanket or shawl for meditation
  • Walking shoes (optional)
  • Bathers and towel (optional)
  • Your authentic self

Please arrive at 8:45am for a 9am start.

We will go ahead in light rain, but in the event of extreme or unreasonable weather refunds will be issued and the event will be cancelled.
