Description
Come join us for your weekly rope fix at a warm, inviting and inclusive space. All roles, levels, styles etc. are welcomed.
Come for some rope, or just come to hang with some delightful humans.
What is a rope jam?
An open, accepting space for rope enthusiasts to come together to tie, socialise and share. Any skill level is welcome, there is no obligation to participate and tie. You are free to simply enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, watch, and ask questions.
Help, I'm completely new to rope!
We run a 4 week beginners course on Tuesdays from 6:30pm-9pm, the next course is starting on August 18th.
What do I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable tying/being tied in. Clothing that you'd generally wear to an exercise class is fine.
Should I bring anything?
Bring your ropes, safety shears, gear, and any comfort items you'd like.
Do I need a partner?
You're welcome to come solo, there'll be some spare rope to practice the basics. Or you can just hang out, chat and (respectfully) watch.
Where can I park?
We have parking onsite at the back of the space, feel free to use it. Otherwise there is some parking available on the street.
The space is accessible, there are bathrooms and kitchenette facilities available.
And we always have tea/coffee/hot chocolates on tap.
