Description
What to expect
Discover the satisfying precision of decorative chip carving in this relaxed evening workshop. Working with a chip carving knife and soft Linden wood, you'll learn how a series of carefully placed cuts can create beautiful geometric patterns with surprising depth and texture.
After practising the essential knife techniques through a series of simple exercises, you'll design your own rosette or choose from a selection of patterns before beginning your final piece. While you may not complete the carving during the session, you'll leave with the knowledge and confidence to continue working at home. Suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone looking to expand their carving skills.
