Luke Gardner is the Health and Safety Manager for McConnell Dowell, the company that has the contract with the Department of State Growth to build the New Bridgewater Bridge, which is the largest investment in a single transport infrastructure project in Tasmania's history.

On 2 August 2023, Luke gave the Rotary Club of Lindisfarne an update on the New Bridgewater Bridge. Significant progress has been made on the project since then.

Luke's presentation will be an update on his previous talk, including the project status, what has been achieved so far, and the next steps.

Event information:

  • This event is open to both Rotary members and non-members. For non-members it is also an opportunity to join with Rotarians and learn about Rotary.
  • Attendance is free of charge.
  • The talk starts at 6.30pm.
  • Non-members are welcome to join us for a meal after the talk. Meals are served at 7.15pm and can be ordered over the bar prior to the talk commencing.
  • Drinks can also be ordered over the bar.
