Leadership Victoria is the pre-eminent leadership organisation in Victoria, and has been delivering unique programs for over 30 years.
Their vision is for an inclusive, equitable and sustainable society, and purpose is to develop, connect and inspire diverse leaders across all sectors to strengthen communities and tackle society’s complex and systemic problems.
Katherine is the CEO of Leadership Victoria (LV), a not-for-profit organisation which develops, connects and inspires leaders from all sectors to strengthen communities and tackle society’s complex and systemic problems, in pursuit of an inclusive, equitable and sustainable society. She is also a Williamson Fellow, having graduated from LV’s flagship Williamson Community Leadership Program in 2007.
Katherine has over 30 years’ diverse leadership experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, and a strong track record of developing and collaborating with other leaders to achieve collective impact and systemic change.
Katherine worked for 20 years in the youth sector, as CEO of the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria (YACVic); Director of Youth Affairs at the Commonwealth of Nations, working with governments and youth leaders across 53 countries; CEO of the Reach Foundation; and consulting to organisations such as Teach for Australia and the Foundation for Young Australians.
Earlier, Katherine spent over a decade in the private sector, working both in Australia and internationally in a variety of analysis, strategy and corporate social responsibility roles.
Katherine holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master in e-Business, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Diploma of Youth Work. She is a graduate of the AICD Company Director’s Course, and a Non-Executive Director of the Brian M. Davis Charitable Foundation.
