Moira Junge has a Doctor of Health Psychology, BA, Honours; D.Psych (Health). Health Psychologist, Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Sleep Expert.
Moira has worked across the public and private sectors. She is a CEO, a clinician, experienced board member, researcher and speaker. Thousands of clinical consultations equates to strong skills and knowledge in the mental health field and sleep health sector. Moira has a specialisation in treating sleeping difficulties which started in the clinical setting and is now focused on prevention, education and awareness raising.
Synopsis
Moira will speak about the essential role sleep plays in our physical health, mental well-being, and daily performance with an overview of the science of sleep, and most common sleep disorders, such as insomnia, sleep apnoea, and restless leg syndrome, and how they impact quality of life. Moira will offer practical, evidence-based strategies to improve sleep—covering bedtime routines, screen time, diet, and stress management.
