The Critic - Movie Night Fundraiser for World Polio Day

Join us for a joint fundraising movie night at Hoyts Hibiscus Coast hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Whangaparaoa and Orewa-Millwater, in support of World Polio Day.
We have a special screening of "The Critic" (2023). The reimagining of Anthony Quinn's novel 'Curtain Call' centre on Jimmy Erskine, the Daily Chronicle's most famous and featured theatre critic of the age; David Brooke, with whom he clashes after recently inheriting the paper; and a young actress, Nina Land, who is devastated by Jimmy's recent negative review of her. As the three become entangled in a whodunnit wrapped in a Faustian pact, their strange triangle winds tighter and tighter to devastating effect for all those caught in the deadly web of blackmail and betrayal!
Arrive from 6:30pm with the movie starting at 7:00pm. We will be having a raffle on the night so make sure to bring some cash!
