RSVP Humanitix.com
Rotarians, Rotaractors and friends interested in projects addressing homelessness are invited to join with your Homeless Hub at our Zoom gathering during Homeless Week 2025.
WAAEH will address housing insecurity and affordability, and issues of state and national homeless strategy. Clubs will have opportunity to add/update existing projects in chat, and also to identify new opportunities and challenges on the horizon.
Early registration is encouraged, as is summary information on existing projects, updates on recent projects, and potential collaborative opportunities into 2026 and beyond.
A final agenda and Zoom link will be forwarded early in August, with any relevant information clubs provide previously.
All Rotary champions interested in alleviating homelessness are welcomed.
ABOUT THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Our guest speaker will be the Executive Director of the Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (WAAEH). The WAAEH is an independent coalition of individuals and organisations committed to working together to end homelessness in Western Australia. Since 2016, it has supported individuals, organisations, governments and local communities to work collaboratively across sectors to end homelessness – not just for individuals, but for whole communities.
Specifically, WAAEH aims to prevent, reduce and end homelessness by ensuring that everyone has access to the housing and support they need, so that any future incidents of homelessness are rare, brief and once-off. This is how we define (and create) an end to homelessness.
Dr Ken Mullin
